Features :
The appearance of sodium persulfate is white crystalline powder and odorless.It can be soluble in water and used as bleaching agent, oxidant, emulsion polymerization accelerator.
Application :
The sodium persulfate is widely used in industrial sectors such as paper pulp, detergents, glass, dyes and textiles, as well as raw materials for water glass, ultramarine blue and other chemical products. In addition, it is also used in the beneficiation of non-ferrous metals, leather, medicine, enamel, synthetic fibers, printing inks, rubber and compound fertilizers, admixtures for lightweight materials and additives for cement and concrete. Used as a catalyst in the synthesis and preparation of organic chemical products; used in the manufacture of alumina to reduce or supplement sodium hydroxide.
Transport and storage :
Sodium persulfate should be installed in strict accordance with the dangerous goods distribution table in the "Dangerous Goods Transportation Regulations" of the Ministry of Railways during railway transportation. Ship separately during transportation and ensure that the container does not leak, collapse, fall, or be damaged during transportation. The transportation vehicles should be equipped with corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment during transportation. It is strictly forbidden to transport it in parallel with acids, combustibles, organics, reducing agents, spontaneous combustion materials, and flammable materials when wet. When transporting, the speed should not be too fast, and overtaking is not allowed. Transport vehicles should be thoroughly cleaned and washed before and after loading and unloading, and it is strictly forbidden to mix organic matter, flammable matter and other impurities.
It is forbidden to mix with strong reducing agents, active metal powders, strong alkalis, alcohols, water, sulfur, and phosphorus. Avoid contact with hot and humid air.
Precautions for storage:
The Sodium persulfate should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature does not exceed 30℃, and the relative humidity does not exceed 80%. The package must be sealed. It should be stored separately from reducing agents, active metal powders, alkalis, alcohols to avoid mixed storage. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain the leakage.
